Dr. Shrenik Parekh
Psychiatry
Dr. Shrenik Parekh completed medical school in India at SMT. N.H.L. Municipal Medical College. He completed his training in General Psychiatry at State University of New York (SUNY) at Buffalo, NY in 2010. He also completed a fellowship in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry at Oregon Health and Science University (OHSU) at Portland, OR in 2012. He is board certified by American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology for Adult psychiatry as well as Child and adolescent psychiatry. He has an independent unrestricted license from College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario (CPSO).
He has been practicing full time at Grand River Hospital in Kitchener, ON since 2012 as a Psychiatrist within in-patient, out-patient and emergency psychiatry settings where his role involves assessment and treatment of mood, anxiety and psychotic disorders as well as substance use disorders.
His interest and experience is varied which includes areas such as Child and Adolescent mental health, Medical Leadership, Collaborative Care, and international mental health issues.
He has an adjunct faculty position for McMaster University and is actively involved in teaching for medical students and Psychiatry resident doctors. He has been participating in humanitarian aid missions to Guyana (South America) as an educator and an advisor to the Ministry of Health

Dr. Anson Liu
Psychiatry
Dr. Anson Liu completed both his General Psychiatry residency training and Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Fellowship training at the University of Maryland/Sheppard Pratt Hospital. He trained with many world-renowned experts in psychiatry and psychotherapy, including authors and contributors to the creation of the DSM-5 diagnoses at his training program. He trained with Dr. John Gunderson, the founder of the diagnosis of borderline personality disorder into the DSM during his training. He is board certified in General Psychiatry as well as Child and Adolescent Psychiatry in the United States. He is registered with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario (CPSO) and is certified to practice independently in General Psychiatry as well as Child and Adolescent Psychiatry in Ontario.
He has extensive outpatient and telepsychiatry practice experience serving children, adolescents and adults in the United States and Canada, treating Mood Disorders, Anxiety Disorders, Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD), Psychotic Disorders, Substance Use Disorders, Posttraumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), Personality Disorders, Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) and autism spectrum disorder (ASD). He has special expertise in treating Personality Disorders, PTSD and high functioning autism spectrum disorder. He was the medical director for a community health clinic and the founder and CEO of Comprehensive Psychiatric Services of Maryland, a boutique private practice in Maryland. He created and implemented a new pathway for children and adolescents with autism spectrum disorder for faster diagnosis and referral or initiation of treatment and services in the Wellington Waterloo Region.
Dr. Anjali Sharma
Psychiatry
Dr. Anjali Sharma is a General Adult Psychiatrist who completed her residency in Psychiatry from McMaster University in Hamilton, Ontario, Canada. She received her FRCP(C) designation from The Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada (Ontario) and has since been practicing in settings such as Acute Care and Emergency Room settings, as well as inpatient and outpatient services.
She is currently the Chief of Psychiatry at Cambridge Memorial Hospital in Cambridge, Ontario, where she provides psychiatric care in multiple clinical settings. She is also an active Consultant for various Family Health Care teams within the community.
She also holds a faculty position as Assistant Clinical Professor and Clinical Supervisor in the Department of Psychiatry & Behavioural Neurosciences at McMaster University.

Andrea Lobsinger
Registered Social Worker
Andrea Lobsinger is a registered Social Worker with more than 15 years of front-line experience working with child, youth, individuals and families. Andrea has a bachelor’s degree in Sexuality, Marriage and Family, as well as a Bachelor of Social Work and Master of Social Work.
Andrea has a wide variety of work experience from child welfare, community development programs, youth justice, respite support, community mental health services and outpatient hospital support. Andrea is experienced in a variety of clinical approaches, including Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), Trauma Focused Therapy, Solution Focused Therapy, Mindfulness, Brief Therapy, and Strength-Based Therapy.
Andrea has worked collaboratively on a multidisciplinary team, supporting in assessment and treatment planning for individuals and families dealing with a variety of mental health concerns, including depression, substance use, anxiety, self-injurious behaviours, trauma, emotion regulation, family conflict, parent support, relationship concerns and boundary setting.

Dana Sauvé
Registered Social Worker
Dana Sauvé is a registered social worker with over 23 years of experience in mental health assessment and treatment. She has supported children, youth, and adults in her role as a mental health clinician in an outpatient hospital setting as well as community-based care.
Dana completed an Honours Bachelor of Applied Science degree, specializing in Family and Social Relations at The University of Guelph in 1996. She obtained her Master of Social Work from Wilfred Laurier University in 1999 and is a registered
social worker in good standing with the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers.
Dana has worked extensively on multidisciplinary teams, assisting in assessment and treatment planning for individuals with complex psychiatric and mental health needs. Dana has witnessed and been inspired by the life-changing outcomes and successes that result from multidisciplinary psychiatric assessments and interventions. She looks forward to working with you as part of the Integrative Psychiatry team.​

Carolyn Shafer
Registered Nurse Practitioner
Carolyn is a master's degree prepared Primary Care Nurse Practitioner (PHCNP). Her advanced education equips her with extensive knowledge and skill sets, allowing her to deliver high quality healthcare services to her patients. She holds her NP license in good-standing with the College of Nurses of Ontario.

Carolyn has over six years of professional psychiatric experience. Prior to pursuing her Nurse Practitioner education, Carolyn worked as a Registered Nurse in the emergency department, where she provided care to individuals of all ages managing acute and complex mental health diagnoses. Her time in the emergency department afforded her invaluable experience in managing critical psychiatric presentations.

Today, Carolyn practices in a community healthcare setting where her focus is on providing healthcare to marginalized clients with complex psychiatric and substance use needs. Her compassion for underserved populations is evident in her dedication to addressing the unique healthcare challenges these individuals encounter. In addition to mental health, Carolyn is committed to offering comprehensive healthcare by addressing a wide range of episodic and chronic medical conditions, ensuring that her patients receive well-rounded care.
